After a two-year hiatus, KidKapers returns to the Lee Playhouse with their production of the whimsical musical, The Aristocats KIDS.
This charming stage adaptation of the Disney animated classic is an adventure story set in Paris and the world of celebration of Disney’s exploration into mid-century jazz in Paris. Cat-napped and abandoned miles from home , Duchess and her kittens, Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie – the smartest Aristocats in Paris – set off on a journey to reunite with their beloved owner, a kind and generous millionairess. With the unlikely help of a rough-and-tumble tomcat and his jazz-loving group of Alley Cats, will the kittens ever find their way home? This musical includes favorite songs such as “Thomas O’Malley Cat,” “The Aristocats,” and “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat.” This production is sure to entertain the kids and keep everyone's toes (or paws) tapping!
Performances are scheduled for Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12, at 7 p.m.; Sunday March 13 at 2:00 p.m.; Friday, March 18, at 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, March 19, and Sunday March 20, at 2:00 p.m.
The Lee Playhouse is located in Bldg. 4300, 1100 Mahone Ave, Fort Lee, VA.
